Stretching funded nursey hours

Nursery is offering us 20 hrs pw funded, over 52 weeks. Shouldn't it be 22 hours, to get the full 1140?

Would I not be better off getting 30 hours pw term time instead? More likely to add up to 1140 total?

Child is in 4 days a week every week. We're in Scotland.

Thanks!

Although you are able to get 30 hours funded childcare I don't think nurseries need to offer the full amount, or any amount.

You can split your entitlement over more than one provider  but no more than two on any one day.

Have you asked the nursery why they only offer 20 hours?
