Will Barclaycard Write Off My Debt?

    I thought your intention was obtaining a write off ?

    Why pay it off in a lump sum that will likely leave you struggling for money, you could pay this off at £1 a week until its settled if your situation demands it.

    Can`t see the logic in your actions to be honest.  :#

    I thought your intention was obtaining a write off ?

    Why pay it off in a lump sum that will likely leave you struggling for money, you could pay this off at £1 a week until its settled if your situation demands it.

    Can`t see the logic in your actions to be honest.  :#
    If am honest Sourcrates that idea was long extinguished a long time ago, only because I had raised a complaint and their response came back as “Their response hasn’t since changed” from when they first told me they couldn’t write the debt off with only having £200 leftover. Besides, if I were to make a £1 payment each week, I’d be more than likely be charged a fee if I don’t make more than the minimum payments.

    And cannot be bothered to wait for the debt to be passed to a third party agency.

    That`s fair enough I guess, at least it gets rid of the debt.
