Tried to renew my house insurance online after visiting the Direct Line website via the Greasy Palm link.
You can get so far through the renewal procedure but you can't complete it as after you have filled in your payment information, there is no button to click to submit it!
The thing is, it was like this last year when I tried to renew then too. Phoning Direct Line to complain has no effect, they just tell you to renew over the phone. How convenient that the Greasy Palm cashback wont be applicable with a phone renewal.
I defy anyone to tell me that's not a deliberate ploy. There's no way would the site still be like this a year later if it was only an error. (An 'error' which they have been told about I might add.)
Complained to Greasy Palm too but it's not really their problem. I emailed them last year about the same thing but it obviously didn't help.
I'm misssing out on thirteen quid (house and car) GP cashback because of Direct Line. I can sense a boycott coming on!
