To my fellow cash investors, if we all hold our nerves and sit on our hands for a few weeks or so and play a role reversal i.e. act like a cartel, do you think the banks would raise the interest rates at a more juicy level. Or it doesn’t work like that. What say you?

Indeed, I have just sold mine. But my money will be fed into my pension over the next couple of years (thank you Chancellor for increasing the limit to £60k per year) and most of the the rest will be clearing my mortgage. I certainly will not be keeping it in cash savings.
