I received this letter today demanding £610 for a PCN that I know nothing about - tried to call them but no answer - tried to search for them on Google but not finding anything - says I must pay by 3rd May 2023 - is this legit as I know NOTHING about a PCN

Scam - report to Action Fraud and CIVEA, sending a copy of the letter received. Plenty of similar threads from the past week on the forum. Do a search for these over the last 10 or so pages of the forum. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It's a scam. There are other recent threads about this scam.
DO NOT PAY IT.
Search this forum using the words in your thread title.

Also, you have left your full name and address clearly visible on that image you have shown us.
As a new user, you will be unable to edit your post, your best bet is to get this thread deleted.
Perhaps the easiest way to make that happen, is to simply hit the Report button -- below your post and ask for the thread to be deleted.

The image was deleted last Friday.
I guess someone else reported it.1 -
You can't delete a thread, only subsequehnt posts you have made, and only then after you have been on the forum for a certain length of time and have made a certain number of posts.
At some point in the next few days/weeks you will be able to edit your opening post and thread title to something like, Duplicate thread, please ignore.
Until then, just let this thread drop off the bottom and don't continue to contribute to it.
