Ceiling hoist repair

My Ceiling hoist (Prism medical) has stopped chargeing and I need to get it repaired.  We purchased the hoist ourselves and I still need to pay for repairs myself but since the death of my husband last year and the increased prices everywhere things are getting tight.  Does anyone know who I could contact for a repair?  Prism's call out charge alone was £70 the last time I had a problem.  I live in Warrington.  Thanks

I'm sure someone will be along to answer your question.  If your money is really tight and you are on benefits then you might ask on the benefits board as they know about coping with unexpected costs
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

You might try Creedon's Healthcare on 0151 531 1333. Their website says they repair mobility hoists, and they are based in Liverpool. Their callout fee might  be lower, but £70 is actually pretty reasonable as a call-out charge. Most local plumbers will charge £60, and Prism have further to travel than a local plumber.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.
