Evri Telephone Robot

Evri sent me an unexpected invoice which I want to challenge.
If I simply don't pay it, they will close my account.
All REPLY links and all online searches lead to their main "Customer Service" telephone number.
The door-keeper on that number is an A.I. Robot voice.
.
First she asks for the tracking number of the parcel. I say the first few letters and then she repeats it back to me.
The problem is she cannot pronounce the letter; "C" and repeats it back as "EE".
It took some time to work that out, but we got past it.
.
Then she said the parcel was delivered, which I knew.
Then she asked me if I wanted to question the delivery, and I said 'yes.'
Then she said there was an "open file" on this matter, and terminated the call.
.
Yes, the open file is the unpaid invoice
and that is what I want to complain to Evri about.
And as far as I can see (having spent 2 hours on this), there is absolutely no way that I can do so.

Hi
Thanks for that.
I suppose the truth is that the PAPERLESS OFFICE revolution was an over-hyped fantasy from the start,
and it dies its inevitable death in 2023, beginning with Evri.0 -
Not at all, most processes work perfectly well without paper, but there are times when it helps to use a letter, especially if you want to take court action at some point.William_Milverton said:Hi
