To be honest we have got another cat and 2 lovely dogs so we wont be getting another pet...But I ought to be glad he at home and not gone anywhere else to die which i know cats can do....Anyway enough of me being sad.....

Can you enter with another e-mail address under hubbys name then...I wish i had known earlier...:D

Awww sorry to hear about your cat - we had the neighbours cat round ours so often when I was younger that we kind of shared him! When he got really poorly my dad showed his softer side and cut a hole through the bottom of the fence as he stuggled to jump over to get in our garden, however much he tried it was heartbreaking! He had stomach cancer and one day came over to ours and sat on the chair for 9 hours, just on and off sleeping not long before he died (my neighbour took him to be euthanised a day or so later).

I think he'll appreciate you giving him lots of cuddles today, it haunts me that I left my house bunny at the vets overnight (this time last year spookily) as he wasn't well, but we didn't know if we would be able to get back for him to go again the next day It was when we had really heavy snow) anyway he died at the vets that night and it still upsets me now that he must have felt abandoned by us just leaving him there by himself  I love bunnies and have always had them but I can't bring myself to get another even a year on as it's so hard when they die.

You can be proud of yourself for giving him a good innings, I'm sure he's had a happy and healthy long life! iykwim!

  • Aw Easter65, I'm so sorry to hear about your cat you must be so upset, the whole family must be.

Pets aren't just pets are they, they're a member of the family.

When my girls came home from school today the very first thing they did is made a fuss of our cat ( Phoebe Complain).

    Sorry to go OT .
