You are not safe to ignore this, and you can be sued. You need to provide the DVLA and the parking firm with proof of when you actually bought the vehicle.

Wow.  Do the dealers belong to a Trade Body you can complain to?

    Which parking firm?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • hi, so far I think its 7 different proofs of when we acquired the vehicle, their 'invoices' don't intimidate me really, if it goes to small claims they will look very silly

Why didn't you just do that online too?

Hi sorry just realised I have to quote your reply(newbie)

debt lowlifes informs me it has been referred back to their ‘client’ so I’m expecting a new set of letters from Gladstone solicitors if other threads are anything to go by.

as for the car ‘dealer’ I don’t think they where official in anyway, unfortunately it’s with them to fill in on the .gov site online the change of vehicle and can input any date they like as to the sale, there’s no way of checking for the buyer so your at the sellers mercy really, bit of an oversight with DVLA I think?

your newbie thread on dealing with these scum is fantastic so I’m preparing my case

    many thanks
