Covering this window

Does anyone have any cost effective suggestions on a way to cover/camouflage this window?!
It is a window to our garage so it’s not really required but
I hate the appearance of it from the garden.
The wall baskets on either side have since been removed and
the rest of the appearance sorted!

One idea would be to find a piece of art that would either cover the window completely or use it as a 'frame' for the work. You would probably need something made of metal, perhaps made using Corten Steel, to survive outside. There is an example of a ready made screen here: Corten Screen In Monstera Metal Garden Screen – TheSteelGallery and they do custom commissions that might allow you to adjust the size.
Something like this in front of the window might 'frame' the sculpture and draw the eye away from the window: Stainless steel figure corten steel pillar outdoor garden sculpture (dzstatue.com)
You might find a local art college where a budding sculptor would undertake a commission or produce a derived work that would suit the location.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.3 -
We had something similar in a previous house with a garage window in the garden and ended up making a feature of it, with fake green shutters (I think we made them out of louvre doors). There are lots of examples of exterior shutters on pinterest. Everyone used to be really intrigued by the 'building' that was actually just a garage - something similar to this:

I was going to suggest shutters as well - but closed, rather than on either side of the window.1

Put a trellis over it and grow some honeysuckle in a large container? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?3

Thanks for the replies on this, I’ve decided shutters are the way forward! What a good idea! And I’ll just make them myself as we have quite a bit of spare pallet wood.1

A lot depends on how what sort of garden/house design you are pleased with.
My current bungalow lacks any sort of charm or character so I've picked my favourite of edwardian garden and collapsing garage door accordingly.
So interesting to see the shutters as part of the whole.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
