Supposed to have migrated to pvo on 24th Jan,bill from sse stated was in credit amount 1900 pounds, trying to get money back a nightmare as both sse and ovo can't access account as still in migration, many phone calls and complaints raised.,at last call was advised to cancel direct debit.Would the C.E.O of SSE/OVO have any thoughts on this.Perhaps some information about the obvious problem there is in the migration of these accounts .

Annoyed beyond words, I have been trying for months probably going on for a year to sort my energy bills out with SWALEC/OVO Electricity info unavailable Gas info seems ok I’ve been told I have to give a update on readings then wait 7 - 10 days for updated info on account I have done this several times, I have been told that I am in credit of £1000 + on Electricity cannot get refund until accounts have been updated but yet they can credit my gas out of overpayment, for some reason a few months back I noticed that 2 payments for Electricity each month 1 S/O other D.D which I cannot remember agreeing to. I have made a request to speak to complaints department and told no direct line but was promised a callback which never happened. I’m pulling my hair out !!!!!!!!0

I migrated from SSE to OVO back in October, I've been there done that, everything you have done and thinking of doing I've done it.christiesue said:Supposed to have migrated to pvo on 24th Jan,bill from sse stated was in credit amount 1900 pounds, trying to get money back a nightmare as both sse and ovo can't access account as still in migration, many phone calls and complaints raised.,at last call was advised to cancel direct debit.Would the C.E.O of SSE/OVO have any thoughts on this.Perhaps some information about the obvious problem there is in the migration of these accounts .
It won't work, I cancelled my direct debit and set up a standing order and within 2 days received a new tariff 8% more expensive so, even if you are in credit by a huge amount you will be paying more for your energy going forward plus you won't get a refund till they are ready to give you one0 -
Why put up with it any longer, unless you are still on an attractive fixed deal or a very low E7 night rate?Switch to Octopus and SSE/Ovo will have to issue the final bill and then any refund within a defined timescale otherwise £30 compo applies. You don't even have to contact SSE/Ovo, it will all be driven by Octopus, who also offer Variable Monthly DD.The only snag is that if it turns out that you are in debit then the outstanding amount will become due almost immediately.0
