That seems too lenient for the catalogue of errors on Mr Amjad Ali Khattak’s part. The tenant being forced to purchase old £1 coins to feed the meter….outrageous.2

Exactly. There’s no way he has a valid EICR certificate for this property and local authorities can impose financial penalties of up to £30,000 to those landlords who don’t have one.
