  • Overall, doesn't really sound great to go to Cost\Co - feel like I've wasted the membership fee already!

Did you join before checking out what they offer and what you were likely to buy?

I am not certain but I think you can cancel your membership & get a refund. Sorry if I am incorrect.
Going down the Oteley Road to see the Shrewsbury aces! :T
  • Books are really good value at Costco. I get clothes too, my husbands work socks etc. crocs for the kids. Flowers are also great quality and value. Vitamins too. Birthday cakes are fab quality and really well priced. Petrol is really cheap too. Bin bags and I check out any offers. It’s defo worth being a member but be choosy about what you get.

You can always cancel and get the membership fee back if you are not satisfied.
What is Costco’s customer satisfaction guarantee and returns policy?

If you normally buy Lidl and Aldi own brand you won't find Costco cheaper.

If you shop and Tesco/Sainsbury's and like brand names then you will find some good deals at Costco, but others need comparing to supermarket prices to check.

Always look at the offers book, they normally change every three weeks Member-Only Savings (costco.co.uk)
HotUkDeals is also great at highlighting the best offers,

When on offer bin bags are a fantastic price, they often have good deals on Wilkinson Sword razors and others branded hygiene products. Cans of Pepsi are a good price. The high quality Crosta & Molica pizza are a twin pack for not much more than a single one at Tesco. Their own brand meat is good, we get chicken breasts and freeze them. Good prices on clothing too.

Petrol cheaper (Diesel much cheaper), tyres cheaper, meat is fantastic quality, TVs great price and 5 year warranty, clothes and shoes good value, coffee great price, cakes (especially celebration) so good and cheap.

    I could go on....

  • Petrol is always worth it. Toilet paper and kitchen towel and olive oil it always worth it.
