Wear and tear issues on a used car bought via pcp
Recently purchased a car from CINCH, now had it 30 days.
It arrived and it had a longer than 25mm(The main through to padding is 3cm, the whole slash is approx 10cm) slash in the rear seat near the isofix and the isofix guide its self appears to have been ripped out from the seat and is not fixed like the other 3. I am going to ask the garage to look at it tomorrow when its in for a light to be repaired, as how do I know its safe to use an isofix seat there?
I have asked them to repair this and they have said no, its wear and tear and offered £100 good will.
It was not noted at all in any of the pictures or the faults online if anything now looking back the photography looks as if it was done to hide the defect, nor pointed out at drop off (I was ill so didnt manage to inspect the car as well as I would have liked the day it was delivered).
I have asked them to fix the fault. THey are now not mentioning it at all in communications regarding a rear light fault.
I get that a rip in the seat doesn't make the vehicle faulty, but I checked with their parent company webuyanycar and it would take £1000 of any valuation they would give me, so I would like it fixed as they are admitting that it does affect the value.
Has anyone else had anything similar?
* I have requested a copy of the BVLRA Fair wear and tear from my leasing company, but they keep referring me to the BVLRA website that tells me to ask my leasing company

It may not be the latest issue but it's unlikely to have changed much.0 -
How old is the car?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

The thread title says:

but...
Is this a PCP, or is this a lease?Donury236 said:* I have requested a copy of the BVLRA Fair wear and tear from my leasing company, but they keep referring me to the BVLRA website that tells me to ask my leasing company
Who are the "leasing company" you mention?
If the car is, in fact, PCP, then the finance company may simply consider any reference to lease as irrelevant.
As to the fault, if the tear was there when the car was delivered, why did you accept delivery?
