How long do police take to respond to returned NIP form

Hi,
I returned a notice of intended prosecution (NIP) form on 12th April, the day I received it. By first class post (like it's still the 1990a but whatever). I was doing 26 in a 20 zone and I'm hoping for a speed awareness course. My question is how long should I expect to wait before I hear back.
