I've just got myself a Samsung Galaxy A14 and considering how I struggle with techie things I'm doing OK setting it up - except for one thing. The app icon thingies are spread across three pages, which I switch between by swiping across. How do I move these app things around between screens?

Assuming there is space on the screen where you want the icon to end up I'd have thought you get the screen containing the app you want to move displayed, then put your finger on the app icon you want to move AND HOLD IT THERE then move the app with your finger to the very edge of the screen which should prompt the other screen to appear then you can drag your finger to a place where there's some space and let go. The app should appear on the screen.1

And if you hold it and place it on top of another app it will put them into a folder taking up one space which you can open to access the individual apps

It's changed a bit with the latest Android update. (at least it has on my Galaxy A13).
To remove ones that you don't want then tap the icon, hold until a little bubble pops up and release, there should be an option in the bubble to uninstall, disable, or remove.
(Some Samsung and Google apps can't be removed).Hold for longer and the bubble dissapears and the screen background changes - you can then drag the icon left or right to move it to a different page.Note that if you drag an icon on top of an existing icon it will create a new folder containing both icons in that spot. (Then you'll have to open the folder to access them, or drag them out again). If you need some space on pages to move things about then swipe the pages left until you get to the last page, tap and hold any icon and drag it right which will create a new page for it. That gives you a new page of spaces to drag things to/from while you reorder averything.Or taping and holding a blank space on any page opens a new display showing the current pages side by side. In there you can drag whole pages about, remove empty pages, or add new pages. It takes a bit of playing when you first get the phone, but I've managed to get mine down to just 2 pages.
