Morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x That turkey crown sounds lovely 😊
I am in the office today – lovely and bright outside but the dreaded rain is due later. It rained for most of the day yesterday and I felt very slothful. Did the ironing and a food shop but otherwise just caught up on TV and reading. Would have liked to go out and potter in the garden but it wasn’t to be.
Lunch is some leftover smoky turkey chilli and dinner tonight is a new SW recipe of Chicken Alfredo (with mushrooms, broccoli, and low-fat soft cheese).
Have a nice lunch out with your friend @TravellingAbuela x
Enjoy the meet up with your friend @IzzyBee x
Have a good day all

Morning. Got up fairly late, but then, didn't go tot bed till late. OH is on earlies so I stay up until I've heard him snoring for a bit so I don't wake him wih my snoring
The skies are threatening rain but I will sort out where the plants are going and i got some bargain big pots [nothing special, fake terracotta plastic but big! Lidl special, very strudy] to pot on a few things that could do with more room. Had a look at the compost in the bin, it looks good enough to mix with the bought stuff, which literally, looks ropey as hell [ literally as in you can see strands of rope in it] but seeing as I've bought it, now I need to work with it. I'll sow some more seeds too, lettuce, radish, chard and maybe beetroot, but they'll all go into cells, not the ground. It's a weird start to the year so far so I'm not taking chances. Apart from that, not a lot will go on.
Izzy, enjoy your friend time. Chris, umbrella?Gers, good luck with your appointment. TA, the calorific choices are where it's at though...If I wanted a salad out, I'd have to give myself a stern talking to
Jackie, hope your appointment goes well too. Although I will say, if your blood pressure is good, might that not be down to the tablets? Rosy, hope you find the drone. snoozer, hope the family drama ramps down. Scarlet, safe travels tomorrow and happy holidays for Wednesday.. Well, I've tarried too long and now it's hammering down...ah well..declutter in the house it is then...Take care all, stay safe...

Afternoon everyone
I didn't wake up till 10.30 this morning so only had an hour before I had to go to work. I'm sure I set the alarm for 8am but I must have turned it off and gone back to sleep. I've been so tired since going back to work last week. I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday so can discuss it then...though not a lot she can do about it.
We had several showers of very cold hailstones today - I got caught in the one as DD arrived to give me a lift and they stung - mind little one found it hilarious!
I bought some Clematis plants on Saturday but they're in my downstairs loo at the minute...it needs to warm up a bit outside first.
Hope everyone has had a good day today x10
