The prize:

The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in a Grand Room at Palé Hall, the five-star Relais & Châteaux hotel on the edge of Snowdonia in north Wales.

Set in a flamboyant Victorian mansion that stands above the River Dee, the hotel offers 22 luxurious rooms and suites, as well as a fine-dining restaurant with three AA rosettes and a Michelin green star (awarded for sustainable gastronomy). It also generates all its own carbon-neutral electricity.

Guests can experience fly-fishing, take a private tour of the surrounding countryside or don a pair of hiking boots and set their sights on the mountains. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

The prize must be taken before September 30, 2023, subject to availability and excluding public holidays.
