TV Developed a Fault - Sorted Quickly by Electrical Deals

I bought my daughter a Toshiba 32” Smart TV for her birthday last July. It was a renewed model from a seller (Electrical Deals) on Amazon and came with a 12 month Amazon warranty. Everything was ok until 2 weeks ago when the picture went, just a black screen with lines down it with sound in the background. I tried to put in for a return/exchange via Amazon but the only option was to drop off to an Evri collection point (for refund only as well) and as this was a TV I wasn’t confident it would be returned ok by this courier. I decided to message the seller instead and sent them a photo of the fault, they asked if I wanted a refund or exchange and 2 days later they sent DPD to collect the faulty TV (I still had the original box and packaging for it) and deliver a replacement at the same time. Full tracking for both TVs all through the process as well. I was very impressed and will definitely order from them again. 

I had a TV from John Lewis about 5 years ago that went wrong after a similar time frame and they were a nightmare to deal with. After one repair that caused another screen fault they didn’t want to know and said Samsung would have to deal with it as it was within the first year, Samsung were useless as well and eventually JL agreed to collect it and refund, that experience put me off buying anything from JL again as it took a couple of months and many phone calls to get resolved.
