Hi, I have joined a large global financial services firm and am required to use a corporate amex for expenses. Will amex complete a personal credit check as part of my application process ?

Possibly yes, possibly no, it depends. In most cases yes, but only for ID verification purposes and they will also check with CIFAS and National Hunter.

Identity check is not the same as a credit search.

You will not be credit checked as part of an application for a Corporate Amex (as ultimately the liability will live with your employer rather than yourself).
