Anyone know of anything as good as the old black jeyes fluid for getting rid of moss and weeds in brick paving at a reasonable price

Do you not want to use Jeyes any more?
And how bad and big is the driveway?
I just use a wire brush and sometimes use a weed killer spray after.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Jeyes have changed their formula it's no longer as good as it used to be when it was black, it's now a expensive watered down version.
Just wondered if anyone used anything different. The driveway is big enough to park 5 cars on it.
I could do it with a wire brush but it would take me ages to do, prefer using the watering can0 -
Soda crystals, like you clean drains with. Pour some in a watering can, top up with water and away you go. Or salt. Same deal.Either will kill everything, mind. Before crowbars were invented, crows just drank at home.0

OH used to use Scott’s Weedol Pathclear on brick patio in previous home.0

I know someone who bought some stuff from an ad in the Daily Mail called Crikey Mikey or something like that. Not sure if it was any good and I wouldn't use the Daily Mail if I ran out of Andrex!!!0

Get some Sodium Hypochlorite, it’s a strong bleach that kills anything living. Used a lot in the equestrian industry for cleaning stables etc. Needs care in using as it is very corrosive, test on a small area first. I use it on Indian sandstone and it brings it up like new. Established lichen might need a bit of agitation with a brush to remove.0
