Hi,
I am wondering if this is a problem.

A couple of weeks ago I applied to switch my Halifax current account to First Direct, to get the £175 switch bonus.

The switch happened today, though looking at my Halifax online banking tonight (still have mortgage, and a savings account for my daughter with them), the current account is still showing there, with "Nil Balance" showing .

I expected the account would have been closed down altogether. I had applied to switch through FD app.

Does this mean the switch wasn't done properly, and I won't get the switch bonus? Or will the current account eventually disappear from the online banking, or what?

Thank you.
