Yeah, the documents are all online. I auto renewed with them so no further emails or documents received, but hey ho.
We received a valuation from them yesterday but still no decision on if they’re going to pay out.0 -
The fact they have bothered to give a valuation is a positive sign, back in my claims days if we were going to reject it we wouldnt have gone to that effort but dealt with the T&Cs issue up front.katiehopps said:Yeah, the documents are all online. So, they asked a ton more questions and then came back with ‘the key was in the car so we won’t be paying out.’ I don’t understand the point of the questions or the valuation, given they’ve had that information from the first phone call.

The final decision may have been made by a "manager", higher pay scale.

So, in a turn of events unforeseen, Aviva incorrectly reduced my NCD to 3. When i contacted them to get it rectified they said they should have applied the benefit of the doubt and paid out, two months later!6
