Couldn't resist a bottle brush at our local Morrisons this afa'. Prob only 2m- ish high max, but very cute.
There are a few varieties, some are hardier than others, they like a well drained soil and reasonably sheltered aspect.
The most commonly found ones will have a creamy yellow or red flower but there are different shades of pinks available too.
I grow quite a few here and they do really well - i'm in the SW so mild climate.
Some have an upright form and some a lax one.2 -
Thanks.
I'm in the SW too (North Devon), so relatively mild, tho' it does go a few degrees below at times. South-facing, and around 8' from the house, so hopefully will get away with it.

I have a pieris , albeit many years old now, and it’s around 5/6 foot, can be pruned to shape like a tree ,my sister did this with hers. At the moment it’s beautiful and pink, it also gets white plumes of flowers and goes through a range of colors.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.1
