Two soundproofing quotes

Hi there,
We have two quotes for a soundproofed independent stud wall in front of our attic bedroom party wall to prevent talking and some impact noise from our neighbours. I have copied them below. Do they seem that different? The price is substantially different, mainly I think because one is from a specialist insulation company and the other a joiner/builder. Which would you go for and why? Do you think one deserves to cost substantially more than the other? Will reveal prices after some replies but I don't want to affect the replies!

Option one sounds the professional one?
It looks very similar to the materials used for mine. Wht I was told or had was basically each bit of the next applied layer was blocking a different frequency. Ask about MLV too assuming thats not the SY100 Tecsound barrier
95% quieter now :-:smile:1 -
Thanks. Do they look that different to you? One is £1700 the other £2700!0

both seem to be quoting to the exact same spec, "SY100 matting", 100 metal stud with 50mm of acoustic insulation and a 15mm SB board, skimmed.
with the exception that quote one has added an extra layer of 15mm SB board
quote 2 sounds better to me. they have specified a lot more details which tbf the quote one may do anyway but you never know.
looking at the price do think one extra layer of plasterboards is worth £1000? those boards are about £20 each0 -
7x2.5m stud wall, 75cm sound deadoning material, low frequency soundboard, MLV, High frequency soundboard, plaster and make good cam to £3500 for me for comparison and fully worth it.0
