Halifax Bank Statements

Is anyone able to advise on Halifax bank statements for current accounts please?

I know you can create your own PDF copy via Internet Banking, but if you choose paperless statements do Halifax automatically send you a PDF copy (via your Internet Banking 'Inbox') of the exact statement that is sent in the post to those who do not opt for paperless?

It's a digital version of what you would receive in the post, which is the full statement including:
    • Statement No.
    • Date of previous statement
    • Opening balance (of statement period)
    • Money in (total over statement period)
    • Money out (total over statement period)
    • Closing balance (of statement period)
    • Your Interest Rates
    • Fees Explained
    • Things you need to know
    • Transaction list
    This applies to Lloyds/Halifax/BoS.

Yes but only annually and contains a lot more than the monthly PDF you download such as IBAN, BIC, branch address and the "need to know" and FSCS info etc.

Thank you very much AmityNeon and molerat.

I'm about to move from HSBC and have decided on either Halifax or Nationwide. Without boring you with the details, I need a 'proper' monthly bank statement, but issued as a PDF rather than sent in the post. I've established that Nationwide does this, so if Halifax only send these annually then I'll go to Nationwide.

    Thanks again to you both.

Halifax offers the option for you to receive statements monthly or annually, and for current accounts, also quarterly. Frequency settings are easily changed as desired in online/mobile banking.

Ah... in that case I'm more inclined to go with Halifax because of the App notifications and paying-in cheques facility, also the ability to use the Post Office should the need arise, all of which Nationwide don't seem to offer, at least not yet.

Many thanks again for your help.

Halifax statements go to Digital inbox & are like ones you get in the post, you can choose how you want them e.g monthly yearly etc,

You can order a paper copy if needed £0 (£5 for extras or if u receive paper statements)
