I swapped a long time ago from Whiskas to Tesco own brand cat food sachets.  Today they were £14.70 for 40 sachets.  They have definitely gone up AGAIN since I last bought a box.  When will this end??????  Another item I am now going to look online for the best price.  Sorry cat, I might have to swap brands.  This is crazy.  We also have two dogs and every month I search online for the best deal on James Wellbeloved 7.5kg bags.  This is supplemented by Butchers which is now £6 for six tins.

I feel for pet owners who are going without in order to feed their pets.  And some having to give up their pets - truly heart-breaking.

I'm wondering if buying larger sacks of food online would be an option for you.
I would also look around to see what dog food matches or almost matches James Wellbeloved

I buy Harringtons for mine when they offer 30% discount- also Skinners from Zooplus when they have a deal.
Skinners is VAT free because it is for working dogs. I also buy several sacks at a time so that it's free delivery.

The boy has to have no wheat
The girl does well on fish so I am buying 3 varieities!!

My old girl gets a 'little something' to pep up dried food but my boy has complete alone. (Both get cooked carrot)
Shyla used to have original  Chappie but that doubled in price- now tinned pilchards (£1.10) or anything on offer- it's only a tablespoonful per meal.
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

    Switch to the cat tins

One tin = 4x sachets, so more for your money.

You can get plastic lids to store them in the fridge for a day or two.

The tin price has still doubled in the last year or two though!
