URGENT! Desperate for advice in removing a CCJ
Comments

what a mixed up set of orders; the original order setting aside the CCJ is dated 29th December but the defendant has to file a defence nine days BEFORE and the next order is refusing the CLAIMANT'S request for a judgment, the next one is surely the allocation to hear the original claim with the defence filed by 20th December.3

Its been that way the whole way through. The claimants consent order was emailed to me a week after the deadline to respond had passed! When I called them they admitted that the letters weren't being sent due to "staffing issues". This was part of my defence. How can I be punished for not responding when their own communications were out of date?Le_Kirk said:what a mixed up set of orders; the original order setting aside the CCJ is dated 29th December but the defendant has to file a defence nine days BEFORE and the next order is refusing the CLAIMANT'S request for a judgment, the next one is surely the allocation to hear the original claim with the defence filed by 20th December.0 -
Because small claims seems to favour Claimants.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I should also add, although the Claimant is Parking Awareness Ltd, it is DCB Legal who is pursuing it.
I've just come across the thread on DCB Legal' s pattern of discontinuation - very interesting!1
