Address of website? Can you help?

Options
We are looking to buy flue pipes for our chimney etc when we fit our woodburning stove.
We have found some cheaper pipes on this website....https://www.fluefactory.co.uk
Is there anyway of finding out if they are genuine...i.e. the website registry address or something? ...sorry not very technical minded.
We cant find an address on the website at all.

Also is there anyway of finding out how long a company has been up and running?

Many thanks

    Sort of.

If you can find the company's correct full name or, better still, its UK registration number (it should be displayed on all their publications including the website and letterheads) you can go to Companies House webcheck service .......

    http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/a7b7eda9e27f5d46afaf5243fa17ae06/wcframe?name=accessCompanyInfo

That will give you some basic details for free. You can get more if you pay for it.

As to their reliability etc. see if you can find other customers and what they have to say.

Also put "fluefactory review" into Google and see what comes up.

    Hope it helps.

Few warning flags, no physical address, bog standard website "from a can", not an incorporated company. Nothing necessarily wrong, could just be a one man band business working from his garage quite legitimately. I have no problem in using reliable one man businesses but there should at the very least be a physical address.

That address is also the address for Cross Technical Services Ltd which is an architect firm. So either fake address or same person doing the flue as a sideline.

Hi Sallys savings, I bought some stainless flue liner from a scrapyard, it was 5/6 years ago, but they only charged a fiver-must have been 30 feet of 6 inch stuff.
