Do we qualify for any Council Tax Reduction ?

I'll ask for this to be moved over to the Benefits board.

But my inexpert understanding is that PIP by itself wouldn't automatically qualify you for any reduction as it's not a means tested benefit.
You may qualify on other grounds, such as low household income.

PIP doesn't automatically entitle you to CTR. It maybe possible to receive a council tax band reduction but other than that no. https://www.gov.uk/council-tax/discounts-for-disabled-people

I got council tax band reduction B to A.
We had a ramp fitted outside and bathroom gutted for low access shower etc.
All arranged by local council, can’t remember the departments name.

It depends on your particular council.
You will need to check their CT scheme and discount policies on their website.
They are allowed to set their own scheme rules, and some are more generous than others when it comes to discounts for disability.
