Grandparents NI credits

As a grandparent I’ve become aware that I could claim for missing NI credits for looking after my grandchild , if I applied would it have any adverse affect on my daughter’s NI contributions or affect her able to still get a free child nursery place or any other possible cons

Depends if she is accruing NI contributions through work.

If she is not then she will not be able to transfer the child benefit credits so there is no way she can lose any entitlement.
