I have had many assessments' over the years for ESA and PIP, and the DM has always gone with what the assessor has written, in my latest PIP assessment what has been written would have given me enhanced daily living and mobility. The DM has decided I only qualify for standard daily living, no mobility. So it does happen, but I would say it is very rare.

Providing the report has been returned by that time. If it hasn't they will not be able to send it out.

I got a text when mine had been received but was nearly two years ago so not sure if same process is in place.

I did as well, 3 yrs ago, but not everyone did even around the same time.  I don't know why some did and some didn't, perhaps not everyone gave a mobile number.

Mine was a change of circumstances, not sure if is by type of application ie renewal/new/change or as you say what contact details given, I visit a page for application support on Fb and not spotted many comments re texts and reports lately but not been visiting as much though!
