prepaid prescriptions don't automatically renew in the last year before your 60

    The sensible way to run this for 59 year olds, is to take the prepayment as usual and then once the user turns 60, send them the letter cancelling the prepayment and a refund for that not used. 

    But maybe that is just too sensible. 

    But they tell you this in the letter that comes with the card if you you are due to turn 60 in the year after the new card runs out.

    I never get sent any letter or card.... It's all digital for new sign ups. Sure I don't read the email so it won't be long till I fall into this trap.
