Dithering over early retirement

Many people struggle making decisions even about which bread or shampoo to select at a supermarket. Do they stick to normal brands or try something new? I'm not saying the OP can't make decisions, but sometimes we struggle to decide even when presented with positive indicators. I wonder how many people delay retirement beyond the point where they have enough finance but are running lower on time, simply because they avoided having to make big decisions?
