I just completed a car insurance renewal through this site that's on the homepage. After completion, it stated £277 through Aviva zero but when I clicked through to the moneysupermarket site it said "quote expired" and the cheapest is now £350 from Hastings Essentials. It would appear to falsely lure you into their site and then give an inflated price.

Edit: I've found out what happened. It seems to have changed some entries from what I entered. For example, I now work from home and entered 'social use only' but for some reason, it then changed it to 'Social commuting and business'. There were a few other entries that seem to have been changed which I changed back.

Must be some sort of glitch.

  • Why not try going through Topcashback or Quidco.

Insurance companies rarely have (worthwhile) cashback anymore but a lot of the comparison sites do.

You can often get get £30-40.
  • I've done it now. I got it back to £277. Tbh I have no patience anymore spending my entire evening going through quotes. I thought £277 was a fair price.

Also, I've had a couple of rejections lately on Topcashback which !!!!!! me off.
