Samsung phone charging question

I have a Samsung Galaxy A14 on its way to me, and I've just realised that it doesn't come with a charger. Can I use any 5v 3.0A phone charger that the supplied lead will plug into, or do I need to fork out for a Samsung charger?

No need to buy a new Samsung charger. If you have an old charger it will work

I have a Samsung 'Fast Charger' but to be honest it isn't that much faster than a normal charger. Maybe quicker by about 15%.

The A14 supports fast charging only up to 15w so isn't too much faster than using your older charger. It's got a 5,000mAh battery so you shouldn't be needing to charge it that often. Enjoy.

Cheers folks. So it doesn't matter that the charger I have is a Motorola one, provided it's 5v and 3.0 A?We're all doomed0

I got a Samsung A53 and it didn't come with a charger. I had lots of chargers but bought a Samsung "fast" one for £20 and it did indeed charge faster until a few months ago when it stopped being any faster than a normal charger. I did some research and found it was probably due to a software update.
Just use the charger you have and it'll maybe take a bit longer.1 -

As already stated, it doesn't matter. I have a variety of old chargers from various companies, all interchangeable.

Don't do what you did on your previous thread, deleting your original question once you have received the answers you need. What were you thinking? That's terribly selfish, depriving others of the answers to questions that may be useful to them.Si_Clist said:I have a Samsung Galaxy A14 on its way to me, and I've just realised that it doesn't come with a charger. And that's why they no longer package a new charger with every new phone. Most people already have more than one, so it's just wastful to keep supplying new ones.I did buy a new one (not Samsung) when I bought a Galaxy A13 last year, but that was because my old charger(s) weren't fast charge and had the old USB micro connection not USB-C.0
