Hello!!
We’ve reserved a new build 3 bed semi, however, the flooring isn’t included in the price. Any idea roughly how much it costs to have the house done? We are hoping for a tiled floor in the kitchen/diner, en suite bathroom, guest bathroom and downstairs loo. And carpet through the rest

Ours is a 2-bed. We paid around 7k. Hallway, lounge, bedrooms, stairs, and landing are all LVT, kitchen, bathroom, and cloakroom are tiles.0

If you floor's are of a floating construction a decoupling membrane will be required and that does not guarantee that the deflection will be reduced to prevent tiles cracking.DELETED USER said:Hello!!

If the floor is on timber joist and well screwed down it still requires the decoupling membrane and self levelling compound before tiling.
A cement floor is the cheapest to lay tiles on
