Tumble Drying DO NOT TUMBLE DRY Things

I feel quite a lot of the labels when they state DO NOT TUMBLE DRY state this because they expect people to tumble dry in a hotter environment - not taking into account newer heat pump tumble dryers.
We have some brushed cotton PJs that I'm sure would be fine but the label says not to.
So just a question for people who have heat pump tumble dryers on whether you just shove everything in or do you explicitly follow the label instructions?

Have heat pump dryer and throw everything in

We have an older vented tumble dryer and just use a low heat function. Don't fill it too full, so that the clothes can move around, limits the time that the clothes are exposed to heat. No issues.Went to USA recently and just put everything in the tumble dryers - they have much larger drums so the clothes were moving freely and dried in about 30 mins on a low heat.0

Caution urged.
Tumble Dried some of swmbo's stuff on our HP dryer, delicate lowest heat, and they shrank. Normally extract them and dry on a rack or hanger in the airing cupboard.

I guess that you should not tumble dry hotter than you can wash the clothes?Rodders53 said:Caution urged.

New clothes required. For example, if the washing instructions say 30C max, you should not be tumble drying hotter than 30C?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
