My husband and I had mirror wills done in 2016 for £250 total. I know the prices might have gone up but from reading some of the posts they seem to be much of a muchness.
I - feeble female (70)!have just done a DIY Power of Attorney for both health and welfare and finance and property. The forms are filled in online and printed for the signatures. They do need the signatures to be done in the correct order so pay attention to that detail. All in all it was very easy.
I would ring round a couple of local solicitors and see what price they quote. For a simple mirror wills they probably have a set price.Mags - who loves shopping1 -
Agree with the others about calling around the local solicitors. When you explain your circumstances a ethical one will advise how simple or complex your wills need to be.
And yes POAs can be done for a £82 each - you'll be wanting 4 in total for the 2 of you to cover both health and wealth.
