Comparison of Nationwide Flexplus

Hi,

I'm looking for worldwide annual travel insurance (USA) for my family (2 adults, 1x 3 year old, 1x 1 year old). Prices are around £150 for the year, flexplus works out cheaper (even without the other bits). Whats the downside?

I'm struggling to find a decent review of the insurance and what it covers.

Here's the Which summary - 

Nationwide's FlexPlus travel insurance policy was one of the highest scoring in our analysis - receiving a policy score of 77%.

This put it in the top fifth of the travel insurance policies we rated.

Impressive Covid cover

Nationwide is one of a handful of providers that receives our highest 'Complete' rating when it comes to its levels of Covid cover.

This means that in addition to paying for medical care if you catch the virus while travelling - or costs if you have to cancel your trip because you've tested positive or have to self isolate - you can also claim if government advice about the destination changes after you've booked, or your plans are thwarted by a government lockdown.

Its policy pays out up to £1,000 if you miss an international flight for reasons outside your control (e.g. other transport delays) - and is part of a minority offering this cover for outgoing, returning and connecting flights.
