BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT SERIES 16 PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

Who can enter:

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the competition period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw.

Opening/closing date & time:

· Prize Draw in relation to the Britain’s Got Talent Series 16 programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, post and online via the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 14 April 2023.

· Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS and online at 10.00am on Monday 19 June 2023.

Prize:

There is one (1) prize of £35,000 cash, a car and an Away Resorts holiday home.

(i) £35,000 cash

This element of the prize consists of £35,000 (thirty-five thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only.

(ii) A car

This element of the prize consists of a Jeep Compass 1.5 T4 e-Torque Hybrid Night Eagle in Solid Black including first registration fee, road tax for the first year, number plates and £30 worth of fuel (“Car”).

The winner will have the choice of either (i) collecting the Car at the winner’s local dealership; or (ii) having the Car delivered to their home address, within three (3) months of receipt of all correct and valid documentation from the winner. Such documentation includes without limitation a valid insurance cover note to register the Car, a current driver’s licence and a valid photo ID such as a UK passport. The winner may choose to register the Car in another person’s name subject to receipt of correct and valid documentation for that person.

(iii) An Away Resorts holiday home

This element of the prize consists of a fully furnished ABI Windermere (40 x 13) lodge (“Holiday Home”) with three (3) bedrooms for two (2) years from the date the winner takes ownership of the Holiday Home (“Expiry Date”). The prize includes:

· a private decking;

· fully fitted kitchen with oven, four (4) hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher; and

· payment of the following fees for two (2) years from the date the winner takes ownership of the lodge:

o all site fees; and

o connections, local authority, water rates, all electricity, gas and insurance costs. Please note that the winner must pay for the insurance costs and the prize provider of the Holiday Home will reimburse the winner upon receipt of a valid invoice.

The winner may choose their park location from the following locations: Appletree Lincolnshire, Mill Rythe Hampshire, Cleethorpes Pearl Lincolnshire, Newperran Cornwall, St Helens Isle of Wright, Golden Sands Wales & Moffat Manor Scotland (“Location”). The prize provider of the Holiday Home will contact the winner within two (2) weeks of winner confirmation and the winner must notify prize provider of the Holiday Home of their chosen Location within thirty (30) days of winner confirmation.

Upon the allocation of the Location, the winner will be required to enter into a Licence Agreement with the prize provider of the Holiday Home, containing terms and conditions substantially in the form of those set out here.

On the Expiry Date, the winner may choose and agree with the prize provider of the Holiday Home one of the following options (the "Options’):

1. keep the lodge and assume the responsibility of the payment of all costs, fees and charges associated with the continued ownership of the lodge, including but not limited to paying the relevant fees for the Location, insurance and running costs; or
2. sell the lodge, in which case the Prize Provider must be given first opportunity to buy the lodge back from the winner at competitive market rates, and bear all costs associated with such sale; or
3. sell the lodge privately subject to option (ii), and the winner shall bear all costs associated with such sale and consequential arrangements.

It is the winner’s responsibility to confirm to the prize provider of the Holiday Home by the date falling one (1) month prior to the Expiry Date in writing which of the Option they wish to take up.

For the avoidance of doubt, the prize excludes any other associated costs and expenses incurred in use of the Holiday Home or any other costs not mentioned above (including but not limited to local authority charges). The prize may not be exchanged for cash equivalent or alternative.

Please note that winner and their companion(s) (if applicable) are expected to comply with the Government’s Covid-19 related guidelines from the relevant jurisdiction.
