BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT SERIES 16 PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

Who can enter:

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the competition period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw.

Opening/closing date & time:

· Prize Draw in relation to the Britain’s Got Talent Series 16 programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, post and online via the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 14 April 2023.

· Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS and online at 10.00am on Monday 19 June 2023.

Prize:

There is one (1) prize of £100,000 cash, a Disney holiday and Sykes Holiday Cottages vouchers.

(i) £100,000 cash

This element of the prize consists of £100,000 (one hundred thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only.

(ii) A Disney holiday

This element of the prize consists of a holiday to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, USA for the winner and up to three (3) companion(s) (“Holiday”) (in total four (4) persons), including the following:

o Accommodation consisting of one (1) standard room (with a maximum of four (4) persons per room) for seven (7) nights at a Disney Resort hotel (selected by the prize provider of the Holiday in its sole discretion and based on availability)

o Return Premium Economy Class flights for the winner and their companion(s) between a major international airport closest to winner's home address in the UK and Orlando International Airport in Orlando, Florida, USA;

o Ground transfers between the Orlando International Airport and the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida;

o Four (4) 8-Day Magic Your Way Tickets with Park Hopper Plus Option;

o One (1) Disney Gift Card with a value of $3,000 (three thousand US Dollars). The Disney Gift Card is subject to further restrictions. The Disney Gift Card can be used at participating locations throughout Walt Disney World® Theme Parks, Disney Springs, Walt Disney World® Water Parks, and Walt Disney World® Resort hotels, toward spa experiences, merchandise, dining (including alcohol) and recreation and at Disney owned and operated locations where credit cards are currently accepted. Please note that the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.

The Holiday must be taken between 14 August 2023 and 30 September 2024 and must be booked at least sixty (60) days prior the preferred travel dates. Departure dates and accommodation are subject to availability. Certain restrictions and block-out dates may apply.

Once the booking is confirmed, the winner and their companion(s) are subject to the travel conditions of the airline. The winner and their companion(s) must travel at the same time on the same routing

Where the winner’s companion(s) are under the age of 18 years old, the companion(s) must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian aged 21 or over in the same accommodation.

The winner and their companion(s) are responsible for and must hold a current passport which is valid for the proposed duration of the winner and their companion(s) trip and for six (6) months after arrival in the USA, and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to the USA, including but not limited to: (i) Covid-19 related documents (as applicable); and (ii) making a timely application for receipt of ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) authorization under the Visa Waiver Program. Please note that the winner and their companion(s) must allow 72 hours between the ESTA application and travel therefore the Promoter recommends the winner and their companion(s) to make the ESTA application immediately after winner contact. ESTA application can be done online at the official website: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov. Travellers to the USA under the Visa Waiver Program must hold a passport with an integrated chip.

It is the responsibility of the winner to: (i) organize and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for the travelling party (ii) ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs (please note that the prize provider of the Holiday shall not be liable for any costs or losses through the winner’s failure to take out adequate insurance cover), (iii) comply with the applicable laws and follow the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office’s travel advice in respect of Covid-19 which can be found at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-advice-novel-coronavirus; (iv) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the travel airline and/or the prize provider of the Holiday; (v) inform the prize provider of the Holiday of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion(s) when taking up the prize; and (vi) to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

It is the responsibility of the winner and their companion(s) to adhere to the local laws in the USA, including but not limited to the legal age limit for buying, drinking and possessing alcoholic beverages which is 21 years or over.

Please note that age and height restrictions may apply to some attractions. Parks, attractions and/or entertainment may change operating hours or be closed due to refurbishing, capacity, weather or special events and may otherwise change or be discontinued without any notice and without liability to the prize provider of the Holiday or the Promoter.

Advance registration is required to gain entry into a Walt Disney World Theme Park. It is the responsibility of the winner and their companion(s) to make reservations for the Theme Parks that they wish to visit using the Disney Park Pass Reservation System. The winner must make a separate reservation for each date they plan to visit, even with a multi-day ticket at each Theme Park they wish to attend. The prize provider of the Holiday cannot be held responsible for the winner’s failure to make reservations and will not be able to change travel dates once travel costs have been incurred.

If the winner elects to partake in any or all portions of their prize with fewer than three (3) companion(s), the Holiday will be awarded to the winner and any participating companion and any remainder of the Holiday will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation.

Some experiences, shows or events may not be available or may be modified depending on the evolution of the safety and sanitary measures and recommendations from public authorities or other reasons, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, refurbishment or maintenance. The prize provider reserves the right to substitute elements of the Holiday at any time or postpone the Holiday, including but not limited to the closure of Walt Disney World Resort or any unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. The prize provider of the Holiday and the Promoter are not responsible for any unforeseen cancellations of flights or other arrangements.

The Holiday excludes any costs incurred in addition to the prize elements listed above which shall be incurred at the winner and/or their companions’ expense including but not limited to ground transportation to and from the UK airport, meals, hotel room service, laundry service, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, local and long distance telephone calls, tips, gratuities, service charges or taxes, travel insurance and all other charges and items not otherwise described in the above.

The Holiday may not be sold, traded, transferred, rescheduled to dates not within the fulfilment period set forth above, or refunded. There is no alternative prize and the Holiday cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.

The prize provider of the Holiday, its parent, related, affiliated, and subsidiary companies and their respective officers, directors agents, employees and assigns shall be released and discharged from any and all legal claims, losses, injuries, demands, damages, actions, and/or causes of actions that arise out of and/or in any way related to the Holiday, the receipt, use and/or enjoyment of the Holiday.

The Holiday is subject to Walt Disney World Resort Booking Terms and Conditions (“Disney Terms and Conditions”) and by participating in the Prize Draw, the winner and their companion(s) agree that they will be subject to these Disney Terms and Conditions - save for the sections relating to the fees of booking, which can be here.

(iii) Sykes Holiday Cottages vouchers

This element of the prize consists of Sykes Holiday Cottages vouchers worth £10,000 in total, which can be redeemed towards any Sykes Holiday Cottages in the UK, online at https://www.sykescottages.co.uk/ or over the phone at 01244356695 (“Vouchers”).

The Prize provider of the Vouchers will communicate to winner the login details to access their personal online account credited with the amount of their Voucher.

The winner must redeem their Vouchers within twenty-four (24) months from the date of issue (subject to availability). The Vouchers are non-transferable and the value of any monetary balance of each Voucher may not be exchanged for cash equivalent or alternative. If the winner’s booking(s) exceed £10,000 (“Maximum Spend”), the winner must pay any costs above the Maximum Spend. If the winner’s booking(s) cost under the Maximum Spend, no cash exchange will be offered and the remaining amount will be forfeited.

The winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at their chosen Sykes Holiday Cottage for security deposit purposes.
