DQ N180 — how to choose my county court (question E1)?

Hi all,
I'm filling in my Directions Questionnaire (form N180) and am a bit confused about the new question E1 (previously D1):
Is this as simple as choosing the most convenient/closest county court hearing centre to me? Are there any other recommendations or guidance as to this?

Hearing venue
At which County Court hearing centre would you prefer the small claims hearing to take place and why?

Yes, just choose your local county court, unless you want to travel further than you need to.DaftMonk said:Hi all,

I think you'd need a (good) reason for selecting a court that isn't one local to you, like working well away from home, for example.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Is this a separate issue to your other discussion here: -

Always best to keep same issues in one thread, if different then carry on but any update on your other thread since January?5
