About 15 years ago I sat on our bedroom floor and cried, we had sold our house in the past to pay off debt, then bought another house and started again and guess what here I was again with about £45000 of debt thinking about having to sell the house again or even make myself bankrupt……in the end I asked my Dad for a loan which cleared a massive amount of the debt which all had interest being added to it at a rapid speed, paid him back every single penny and now we are on our last £7000 (2200 of this is for a sofa which is only a year old so new debt but budgeted for) all 0% interest and we have more savings that what we owe, it’s bloody hard and you have to do without things, but then you start to realise you don’t actually need those things anyway and then life becomes much simpler, keep going honestly it gets better xx
