OneDrive Help needed

Just got a new phone and Outlook won't let me send emails as I've run out of storage. Pretty clueless on these things but it seems that I have 5.5 gig of photos and videos. Don't want to lose them but how and where do I save them. Be gentle with me!!! Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks km1500. So basically they are trying to get more money from me? What can I do with these pics/videos? Can I save them somewhere else? If so how to do it?

Download them onto a laptop or desktop and save to a hard drive?

32 GB flash drive £5.99 from Argos as backup to the hard drive and mobile..

USB flash drives will work direct with many mobiles.

Also many mobiles will accept additional memory.

If you have Amazon prime it includes unlimited Photo storage.   I keep a copy of all my photos there as an extra backup.
You can auto save photos there from the Amazon Photos app.  I think everyone with an Amazon account gets 5Gb free storage.
