Can I pay £ into the Santander 1 yr fixed rate ISA I'm transferring ISA into?

I haven't paid into any ISA this financial year and wondered if it's possible/ if there is a deadline to pay into the 1 yr fixed ISA I've opened to transfer my old ISA into or would I have to open a separate 1 yr fixed ISA and pay into that ?

I also wondered if it would muddy the waters about getting the £50 voucher if I paid new money into the Fixed Rate ISA to add to the money transferred from my previous provider.

The T&Cs for the current Santander fixed rate cash ISAs state that you can pay cash in until 31st May 2023.

"The ISA allowance for the 2023/24 tax year is £20,000 and deposits can be made up to and including 31 May 2023. No subsequent additional deposits allowed"

...so you can choose between adding money to that ISA or you could open another - it's up to you. Just be aware (if you're wanting to make full use of your 23-24 allowance) that once you've paid into that one and that deadline has passed, you won't be able to pay into another cash ISA this tax year.

I've only done transfers in myself, but I don't remember reading anything that says that adding money (to an ISA you're also transferring into) should affect your voucher eligibility. Have a good read of the offer T&Cs to be sure though.
