Matching set cover

I'm in a battle with MBNA about what constitutes a 'matching set'. 
We were burgled and the patio doors needed replacing. The original doors had made to measure perfect fit blinds which do not fit with the new doors. MBNA are refusing to replace the blinds.

MBNA's matching set policy states ' any items that are designed to go together in one area of your home'.

My argument is that the blinds were designed to go together with the doors and could not be used anywhere else. 

Does anyone think I'm right?

If you can evidence blind fitting was done originally as part of same installation process, then yes I would agree.

If you had patio doors fitted and later you had the blinds fitted, then your argument is weaker.

Before and after photos would probably help or a better description of how the old blinds and new doors dont match... I doubt they'd have changed the size of the hole in the exterior wall so struggling a little to imagine the problem. 

Personally, it feels something that is more complementary rather than strictly a matching "set". It may have been better to challenge the replacement doors when they were being selected to ensure they worked with the existing blinds than accept a different design of door and then try to argue the blinds need changing too.
