Section 75 or Proof of debt form - or both

I recently bought a sofa from a company that has gone into insolvency. I paid a deposit on CCard and rest via BACS as I didnt have a high limit on card. The company went bust and I know I am covered by section 75, but the insolvency firm dealing with it sent me a Proof of debt form and a voting form. I have looked around the web and cannot see anywhere the answer to my question - If I submit a section 75 to my CCard do I also need to submit the proof of debt form and voting form to insolvency company dealing with the collapsed firm? I want to make sure so I dont accidentally lose out on getting my money back.

You are an unsecured creditor to the insolvent firm, typically you'll get nothing and at best its a couple of pennies per £1 they owe you.
There is no harm in starting both processes however you cannot be paid out in full by both and so if the S75 settles in full you'd have to withdraw the other. Or if you got a part settlement from the insolvency then you'd need to inform the bank and they'd deduct it from what they pay you.0 -
All you need to provide to CC is proof they are no longer trading.

I wouldn't bother with the insolvency process as you'll get nothing from it - go straight to the s75 if you can.1
