Ryanair Baggage Claim Catch 22
I flew in from Edinburgh to Alicante on 25aug22 to find my suitcase was seriously damaged and I had to drag it from the airport. The Ryanair desk was closed so I couldn’t get a claim form. I have been writing to Ryanair for the past 8 months but they still insist on me sending a non existent form.I have photos taken at the airport and sent to Ryanair many times. The European directive on baggage compensation states that it is sufficient to claim in writing and needs no particular form. Ryanair customer service just keeps repeating the mantra “no form no compensation” Any ideas about how I should proceed?0
