Sold car, but garage not paying

Hi guys, on the 10th March, we sold our car to MotorServ Solihull and in the written agreement, they said they would send payment in 1-14 working days. Well obviously 14 working days has passed and we still haven’t received the payment, despite emails and numerous phone calls (no one’s ever available). Any advice on how we can force the issue please? Many thanks

Go and see them face to face.

According to Company's House they've not made any significant transactions in years.

Send an LBA, give them 14 days to pay you.

If it's Motorserv-UK, of Solihull, then according to their last filed accounts, it's a dormant company with assets of £1.

Definitely a letter before action if phonecalls are proving worthless.

In that case, the OP needs to be very careful which company they put down as the defendent on their claim.
